Todd Nakano CP, MSPO

Todd is an American Board-Certified Prosthetist with extensive experience in designing and fitting custom orthotics. He attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, with an emphasis in Medical Sciences from Southern Oregon University, in 2013.  He then attended graduate school and attained Master of Science degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics from Loma Linda University in 2016. With 15 years of experience working in multiple positions within the field in the mainland, Todd has developed a deep expertise in providing custom prosthetic solutions that enhance mobility and improve the quality of life for his patients. He is committed to patient-centered, evidence-based care, designing each solution to meet the unique needs of every individual while ensuring cultural sensitivity and compassionate service. Todd integrates advanced technology, including 3D printing, advanced socket theories, and sustainable practices into his work, striving to provide effective, efficient, and holistic care to the diverse communities of Hawaii. Born and raised on the east side of Oahu, Todd attended Saint Louis School and has deep roots in the local community, where he is dedicated to giving back through his work. In his free time, Todd enjoys surfing, fishing, snowboarding, traveling, eating, and taking his two daughters Kamila and Amaia to the beach.
